This cordless smart window cleaning robot is equipped with a 3000 ma battery, allowing it to operate for up to 50 minutes. Its built-in gravity acceleration sensor, coupled with a post-optimized algorithm, enables it to intelligently plan a "N" or "Z" shaped cleaning path. Users can also select a "N+Z" deep cleaning mode for a thorough clean. In addition, the Winbot WA3 has a back-up power system that allows it to stay on the window for an extra 30 minutes, ensuring no spot is left untouched.
One of the key features of the Winbot WA3 is its focus on safety. ECOVACS has designed a new safety suction pod and a tether to further enhance the safety of the robot. The suction pod ensures a secure attachment to the glass, while the tether provides an additional layer of protection against falls. With these safety measures in place, users can have peace of mind while the Winbot WA3 takes care of their window cleaning needs.
The Winbot WA3 utilizes advanced technology to optimize its cleaning performance. Equipped with a gravity acceleration sensor, infrared sensor, and state-of-the-art path planning procedures, this robot achieves efficient cleaning with an intelligently planned path. A pressure sensor and a 2.4 gram communication module monitor the mainframe and safety suction pod in real-time, providing timely warnings and reminders to users when the vacuum degree is lower than the safety threshold. The body of the Winbot WA3 is partially made of mixed fiberglass material, making it both lightweight and robust.
Operating the Winbot WA3 is simple and user-friendly. Users can turn on the main machine and suction pod, connect them with the tether, and attach the suction pod onto the glass. Once these steps are completed, cleaning can be activated with just one touch. The robot automatically identifies and selects the optimal cleaning path, while users can use the remote control device to operate and select the cleaning mode in real-time. When the battery is low or the cleaning is completed, the Winbot WA3 returns to its initial position and emits a reminder.
The Winbot WA3 was developed by ECOVACS ROBOTICS CO.,LTD in collaboration with Designaffairs Business Consulting(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. The project commenced in December 2016 and was completed in January 2018 in Suzhou. Extensive research was conducted to understand user requirements and derive the basic function settings of the product. Throughout the design process, feasibility tests were carried out to optimize the interactive experience, resulting in a user-friendly and efficient window cleaning robot.
The innovative design and functionality of the Winbot WA3 have been recognized with the prestigious Bronze A' Design Award in the Home Appliances Design category in 2018. This award is bestowed upon outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that authenticate experience and resourcefulness. The Winbot WA3 exhibits strong technical and creative skills, contributing to quality of life improvements and making the world a better place.
